The New Year started off great for me, as I was able to spend the first weekend with my friend Petya. If you don’t know her you should definitely go and check out her beautiful Instagram feed here.
We decided to spend the day out in London and our first stop was the beautiful Langham Hotel for coffee – because every good day starts with coffee.
It was also a stunning location and perfect to take a few snaps. This hotel is #interiorgoals. Have a look yourself:
Beautiful – right? I mean indoor palm trees?
We decided to have a stroll around London and walk towards Kings Cross. We came across some cute little alleyways and stopped by the St.Pancras Renaissance London Hotel.
By that time we got pretty hungry. So that only means Pizza. One of my favorite Pizza places can be found in the area: Pizza Union. It’s fire baked, thin, 12″ pizza and super delicious. The place is very casual and the pizza’s are priced well. Prices start at £3.95 for a Margherita.
Because we still had time before our next activity we decided to head to Simmons for a cheeky cocktail. There are multiple Simmons around town, but this one, was just around the corner. It’s the tiniest little bar and super quirky with a skull-shaped disco ball and tea-pots everywhere – really cool. During the week this place is super busy, especially during their happy hour – so so cheap. But we were lucky and it was pretty empty. So we enjoyed our Raspberry Mojito and Pornstar Martini before heading towards Tobacco Docks where our next destination was.
Petya and I booked ourselves in for Rooftop Ice-Skating at Skylight London. Skylight is pop-up bar and food destination on top of a multi-story car park. We opted for a package that included 45min ice skating, a cheese fondue and a bottle of wine. It was a great deal, however, the ice-skating disappointed a little bit. This was mainly down to the ice-skates being very uncomfortable. So we did a few rounds and went inside for some cheese fondue and wine. Have a look here:
